"Oradour" (Achtung Baby! ABLP004).

German mysterial project Stahlwerk 9 is well known from the track on the DoCD Compilation "Ten Years of Madness...". Written and recorded in the period of 1999/2002, ‘Oradour’ is long awaited fantastic debut from the band and quite recommended industrial sound in the way of Dagda Mor, Les Joyaux de la Princesse, Nocturne, Der Blutharsch, Turbund Sturmwerk and Wappenbund etc. Heroic dark noise, industrial loops, war samples and pulsating ritual atmospheres.

Three years Achtung Baby! had been lucky to open to audience enigmatic German project Stahlwerk9, presented it on the Ten Years of Madness (behind the Iron Curtain) compilation. Oradour, that had seen the day light in 1999 and afterwards having been globally reconstructed as in the field of sound as in stuff – first official and long awaiting full-length project album. It symbolises a new step of creative activity –more deep, full and overvalued via time and space. But still it’s an overwhelming oratory of human being life and dearth, of drama and magnificence in its nietschenian context. Listen. Blood of forgotten heroes is flowing there, its a world of ruins/Welcome to the ghost city - Oradour. Its a city of nowhere...

The album is dedicated to dramatic and tragic destiny of one small French town in the WWII time. Darkest brutal post-industrial noises and loops, military samples, archive historic documentation and pulsating ritual spheres create cinematic and exciting atmosphere of eternity and sorrow:

After "Oradour", released limited up to 474 copies, immediately sold out by distributors and got very positive reviews, Stahlwerk 9 returns to the ruins of Ghost City in special collection release on heavy 200g vinyl in new art design and coloured by the two new tracks recorded with Rasthof Dachau on extra -7" EP - "Le Chants des Partisans/ La Puissance de fou". Anla Courtis is part of the amazing Argentinean music project Reynols. The sounds on this disc are unlike anything Courtis has done in the past. All sounds are composed and created using fractal music generators. The music is cascading electronic wash over the menacing ebb and flow of broken melody lines and scattered musical shards. Very strange and psychedelic, in which sense it is similar to his previous work, but certainly Courtis is navigating new and interesting sonic territory with this piece.

One remix of source material from each, and one solo track; the PD track being an example of 'urban-noir electronics' while his remix of Metrocide attempts to turn down the noise, allowing for one quick blast, then dwelling in the teeth grinding murk while shaping narrative flow and loops out of the Metrocrap. The Metrocide track is slow mounting, seething harshness and the Metrocide remix of PD is chopped-to-death audio cruelty.

Subklinik has risen from the DEAD! Time to resume where I left off. I am looking forward to beginning a new era for Subklinik. A 12" is in the works as I write that contains 3 new tracks (one re-worked from the ‘Mortuour’ CD-R) and the original version of the ‘Cremator’ tracks released by Slaughter Productions. The tracks were to be in a specific order, but were not when released. No one's fault really, just the way it happened. The hiatus of Subklinik was much needed, and now it is time to resurrect itself. Thanks to everyone who has shown Subklinik support in the past and fuck all who tried to oppose it.
